New Engagements
By Justice Evans
Cassandra O’Brian, daughter of Joshua and Celia O’Brian, will be tying the knot with Thomas, a.k.a. Tommy, Macleod, the son of Robert Macleod and Theresa Ross.  The special day is scheduled to be July 15, 2012.  The young couple met while Cassandra was on vacation in Europe.
“Cassie just didn’t leave me alone.  I couldn’t stop dreaming about her and was almost too embarrassed to ask for her number.”  An energetic Tommy said about his now blushing fiancĂ©.
“Tommy’s eyes were the first thing I noticed about him when we first met.”  Cassandra later said as she seemed to be thinking about another place and time.
The wedding is planned to be on the Nice beach in France.  And will be around the time of 4 in the afternoon.

Romantic Poem

I could use a poem in my multi genre project to show some scenery.  It also shows the beauty that can be compared to a bride in her dress on a flawless beach.  I also want to maybe use more than just one poem that doesn't have to rhyme.

Sandy Beaches and Love
The eagerness of starting a new life.
No need for worrying about tomorrow.
The long, flowing white dress and clean cut tux,
Do nothing to disturb the silent beauty of the world around them.
Nothing seems to matter but the two people standing at the alter,
An alter made of sand and tiny seashells.
The sounds of gently crashing waves and nearby seagulls,
are all that disturb the otherwise perfect moment.
And a few chairs are placed to face the young couple,
who are so wrapped up in one another they ignore the ones around them.
There seem to be a few empty chairs scattered among the ceremony.
Were they forgotten or just simply not needed?
The beach's off white sand did not clash with the bride's snow white dress.
It is sand that with the coming tide will leave no trace of bride and groom.
Like so many before have been witnessed and forgotten.
